Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest. We encourage you to view our site and join us in telling the true stories of the Confederate States and of our Confederate Ancestors. We are a local camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Wytheville, Virginia. Our camp was chartered December 7, 1996 in honor of Brigadier Generals Walker and Terry, who lived their post-war lives in Wytheville. The Sons of Confederate Veterans is a non-profit, non-political, non-racial organization. Any agenda thereof will not be encouraged or condoned. We are a historical, patriotic, educational organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of southern history and heritage.
"To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we submit the vindication of the Cause for which we fought; to your strength will be given the defense of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles he loved and which made him glorious and which you also cherish.
Remember, it is your duty to see that the true history of the South is preserved to future generations."
